I can trawl through a million emails every day, but nothing beats clicking through one and listening to a song from someone unknown which turns out to be a gem. I wasn’t expecting to hear what I heard when I got the email from Francesca Bergami; it’s a lovely track that plays between so many different styles and still manages to sound so refined. New Music: Spit Syndicate

This might just be song of the week I reckon. So these guys seem to be established in Australia but I’ve never heard of them until I had an email drop through yesterday. My heart muted a bit after a few seconds when I realised that the sound they made reminded me of early N*E*R*D (and hence teenage years). It’s rare to hear something cutting edge but so easy on the ear, so I’m a fan. Check out here.
