So Youan seems to be causing a bit of a stir in the blogosphere of late, and this new track emerged a few days ago that is so relaxing and calm and sexy. Enjoy.

New Music: Paul Cook and The Chronicles

I don’t really know much about this chap but the song speaks for itself, a beautiful, simple summery track. Released August 6th. Check out here.

New Music: Laurel Collective

Eclectic indie pop. This is the band who, whilst holding down 9 to 5’s (which includes call centres, a phlebotomist, and even producing duties, drummer Charlie Andrew recently produced the new Alt-J record) conceived and curate their own festival: In The Woods. Check out here.

New Music: Leverage Models

A very 80’s sound but without all the disco/ neon laced beats that we’ve become accustomed to. Check out here.

New Music: POP ETC

Formerly known as The Morning Benders, this is fresh synth pop from California. Check out here.

First Watch: Cinnamon Girl ‘Devil In Me’

Im really loving this new single from Cinnamon Girl– hope it brightens your Monday afternoon! You can download the track for free here.

New day…

New one from Alicia Keys. I’m on a break this week so there won’t be too much blogging for the next seven days, but Im sure I won’t be able to resist logging on more than I should!

Bloody Beetroots…

Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo better known as the Bloody Beetroots, returns this summer with this pumping new track which embraces the garage-punk sound that the Bloody Beetroots Projects is so famously known for – rock infused exploding beats and vigorously energetic electro house.

New Music: Waldo & Marsha

Danish shoegaze that feels a bit sixties, it’s nice. Check out here.

New Music: Le1f

This is so over the top, and I should hate it for that reason but Ive found myself loving it instead. ‘Camp and Street’. Check out here.

New Music: Waves of Fury

I think this is my favourite band of the week. It’s a mix of Motown, Britpop and just pure noise. It shouldn’t work, but it does. Check out here.

New Music: Jayme Dee

So I’m not usually all that excited with these big bubblegum girlie pop princesses but I seem to be drawn to Jayme Dee for reasons unknown to me… So I’m sharing. Check out here.

New Music: Luke Sital-Singh

Beautiful, warm, stripped back acoustic sound. Check out here.

First Listen: Delphic ‘Good Life’

I really like Delphic. Their debut, Acolyte, was a favourite when it was released a couple of years ago. This is their new track, ‘Good Life’, and is so fresh. Love.
