Hailing from the Netherlands is promising new pop artist Leah Rye. Today is a special day for this talent, as she is releasing a new single that coincides with her birthday.
Aptly titled ‘Growing Into Me’, the track is taken from Rye’s forthcoming debut album, and is inspired by her journey of personal growth and self-discovery.
“It’s a song about development into womanhood, slowly getting to know yourself better and growing into your own skin. To me, this song means the body of my upcoming album, and the body of myself as an artist and person.”
Accompanying the theme for the song’s concept, its music video features shots from Rye’s fourth birthday in 2000.
