Bess Atwell has to be one of the UK’s brightest indie-folk newcomers. And with support already garnered from the likes of The Guardian and The Independent, we think it’s fair to say that Atwell’s name will become a prominent one within the British music scene soon.
The artist has just released a new album called ‘Light Sleeper’ (listen here), of which ‘I Am Awake’ is lifted. This is a gorgeously tender piece of music that draws listeners into a hazy soundscape, which is utterly mesmerising to experience.
