While still only 22-years of age, LA-based Chinese-American artist Tiffany Day has rapidly become one of California’s most promising pop starlets.

New single ‘SAN FRANCISCO SIDEWALK’ treats listeners to an interesting juxtaposition between a playful and buoyant production and deeply personal lyricism.

“This was the first song I wrote after my break up that wasn’t about my break up. It felt like a breakthrough to me – I had spent so much time writing about my anger and sadness for the past month that I forgot to think about the positives. Each line of the song has weight to it, and refer to real experiences I’ve had with some of my best friends. We’ve been with each other through some of our toughest moments in the past years, and it’s just really beautiful that friends have the power to heal you and fill the void in your heart. I realised that even though we were all graduating and moving to different cities, they’d still be with me no matter what. San Francisco Sidewalks is about exactly that. Knowing that no matter where you are, you have people who have your back because you’ve already been through so much together. You have room to grow and explore the world and know that they’ll always be there waiting for you, and vice versa!”

To date, Tiffany has released three concept EPs – ‘THE RECOVERY PROJECT’, ‘THE DEPENDENCY PROJECT’ and ‘THE RENEWAL PROJECT’. Day joins Blue DeTiger on tour later this year, with stops all across the US.
