Nashville artist J Duran is one of those rare musicians who has a natural ability to mix classic rock with modern indie-pop in a way that feels timeless yet relevant.
The singer and songwriter has just unveiled a brand new project (produced by Cage the Elephant’s Brad Shultz) called ‘Introspect’, from which ‘Keep It Real’ is lifted. The track is instantly memorable, and deserves to be on everyone’s playlists this weekend. Speaking on the album, the artist says:
“’Introspect’ is an unintentional concept album that explores perspective just as well as it explores sonic possibilities. I think it has a unique character and charm that differentiates it from other music that I’ve heard coming out recently.
