One of the most exciting pop discoveries of the week has been Guatemalan-born and LA-based singer-songwriter Liam Jones.
‘New Love’ showcases a perfected sound that feels nostalgic and dreamy in tone, yet still maintains a current edge. This is a song that is near impossible not to feel some kind of love for, and marks Jones as one US talent to keep on your radars.
“This is a song about moving on from having your ‘heart ripped out’ and being ready to take on new life and ‘new love’. It’s about feeling positive about all the possibilities life has to offer. About being OK with change and being excited about what can be! At the same time struggling from the constant memory of the relationship you’re getting over.”
Aside from releasing his own work, Jones is also an accomplished songwriter who was worked alongside the likes of Grace Weber.
