Emerging from London is Portuguese singer, songwriter and guitarist Raquel Martins.
Melodic new single ‘Empty Flower’ is taken from Martins’ freshly-released EP of the same name (out now), and treats listeners to a beautifully dreamy yet vulnerable sound that blends alternative soul with latin influences.
With support from the likes of BBC Introducing, The Line of Best Fit and Dummy, as well as praise from prominent tastemakers including Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum and Casskid, Martins is one name to watch for in 2023.
