Brooklyn-based talent Sam Rappaport spent most of his life believing he was headed for the NBA. When his dream didn’t materialise, he went travelling across the country – working as a case manager for a welfare office, being a reporter for local newspapers and even bartending at a Sichuan restaurant.
No matter where he was or what he was doing, Rappaport was always connected to his music. With a style of songwriting that feels relatable and warm, it’s near impossible not to feel a love for this artist’s work.
Sam also co-fronts indie-rock band Gooseberry.
