New Music: sleepyhead

Manchester’s sleepyhead are one of the most promising indie outfits to have emerged from the North West in quite some time.

Uplifting and energising in its character, ‘Placekicker’ showcases a perfected mix British rock, indie and pop, and is taken from the duo’s freshly-released ‘Red’ EP (out now),

The musical project of Seb Reid and Matt Davies, sleepyhead not only perform their own songs, but also write, record and produce all their work as well. Their songs have so far received praise from outlets as notable as Clout Magazine, while also finding their way on to editorial playlists like Spotify’s Fresh Finds.

The ‘Red’ EP accompanies the band’s ‘Blue In Nature’ album, which was released last October.

New Music: Sleepyhead

An eccentric yet charmingly playful blend of electronic pop and indie from American talent Sleepyhead.

“This song is about feeling vulnerable in a relationship but knowing that it is ok to feel vulnerable, and it doesn’t have to be scary.”
