A beautifully constructed and powerfully moving release from London-based, Irish-Welsh singer-songwriter Dan B. Patrick. Using his distinctively powerful vocal, this artist focuses on the most salient aspects of the human experience, covering love, loss, mortality and hope.
“[Embers was written] at a time when I felt particularly panicked about the future. I felt as though I was very far away from the goals I had set myself and that I was badly letting my younger self down. So the song was initially written as a letter of apology to my younger self (which in hindsight was absurdly melodramatic).”
Already garnering praise from the likes of BBC Introducing, Soho Radio, Amazing Radio, and The Irish World, this is one artist to watch.
Taken from the debut EP ‘A Streak Of Light’ which is out now.
