German art-pop trio Mayuko create a style of indie-pop that is truly like none other. Fearlessly experimental, ‘Oil And Water’ perfectly juxtaposes fragile and ethereal vocals against rough bass loops and minimalist beats. On the song, the band say:
“Similar to the journey of Alice in Wonderland in a picturesque land where she falls down a swirling tunnel, ‘Alice’ is accompanied by a comforting friend. She’s led to a destination of ecstasy surrounded by dizzying air and pleasure.”
