“I wrote ‘Bodies in Between’ after the ending of a really significant relationship in my life. I was in a place where I felt the need to rediscover myself and what I wanted, and a large part of that meant exploring relationships with new people. Ultimately, I realised that you can’t love your way out of heartbreak with somebody new, and the song illustrates my journey of figuring that out and coming to a greater understanding of myself.”
