Rising 21-year old artist Kai Bosch unveils his first new single of the year, entitled ‘My Jeans’.
Co-produced alongside Danio Forni, the song was sonically inspired by Lana Del Rey’s iconic ‘Ride’, and treats listeners to a spellbinding mix of dreamy indie and alternative pop.
“[The track was] born out of the ashes of quite a traumatic and one-sided relationship coming to an end. Writing this song was a real turning point for me and how I viewed this and other failed relationships I’d been through in the past.”
“I always felt a deep responsibility for relationships ending, whenever something would fail I would blame myself and try to pick apart what was wrong with me. This song and specific relationship helped me realise that sometimes things aren’t my fault, and the other party might be the one struggling. My Jeans is a statement of sympathy in the face of painful unrequited love.”
After selling out three headline shows last year, Bosch plays London’s Bermondsey Social Club on the 20th April – tickets can be found here.
