New York based musician Cade Hoppe unveils a beautiful new single today, entitled ‘Fool’s Gold’.
Unlike Cade’s previous releases (which were typically energising and playful in tone), ‘Fool’s Gold’ presents listeners with a more pensive and introspective style of sound.
The production fuses elements of folk, indie and rock together to set the scene for Hoppe’s honest lyricism to shine through:
“This song is about uncertainty, inevitability, and where those two things overlap. It’s this fear of striving for some sort of meaningful immortality, but ultimately fading into oblivion.”
