New single ‘I Already Am One’ was sonically inspired by Y2K rock-pop, while the lyrics focus on themes of femininity and unconventional relationships. Speaking on her artistry, Isla says:
In all of my songs, I play the persona of a hedonistic, ultra-confident, maybe-evil siren type– she’s having fun, and you should be too! This song is also inspired by an interview with Cher in which she shares how her mother told her she needed to marry a rich man, and she responded, ‘Mom, I am a rich man.’
