One of the most powerful and hard-hitting singles of the week is by American singer and songwriter Dune Moss.
‘Mud’ addresses the very serious topic of physical abuse, and challenges society’s opinions on how being “‘clean’ meant to be untouched by a man”. The artist elaborates:
“I saw time and time again that perpetrators could hurt others and then walk away perfectly clean and blameless. I wrote ‘Mud’ in response to those who feel they can hurt others without consequence.”
