LA-based artist Sara Marie Barron’s new single, ‘Killer (Moon Interlude)’ is one of the most creative releases of the week. The Detroit-raised singer and songwriter has been steadily building traction lately, with her beautiful production that fuses genres together in balanced and harmonious ways.
‘Killer(Moon Interlude)’ is an ambient piece which, despite its minimalism, feels unnerving and slightly haunting. The song was inspired by the damaging effects of late-stage capitalism, with the rhythm of the synth loop reflecting the monotony of 9-5 work.
