abrahamblue – You

No matter how you’re feeling right now, I can guarantee that this song will make you so damn cheerful. I’ve been quietly obsessing over abrahamblue ever since he hit the radar not too long ago.

Born to Syrian-Palestinian parents, he immigrated and settled in to a small downtown apartment in Antwerp at the age of five.

As with any kid in the same situation, he soon experienced an identity crisis as he struggled to feel at home.

Delving into pop music and discovering artists like James Brown and Michael Jackson, he began to create his own musical journey that’s been inspired by a host of genres; from Jazz to Brazilian BossaNova to 90’s hiphop, soul and gospel.

And here is the magnificent result of all that. Enjoy!

The debut EP ‘Tracks I Wrote Last Summer’ is out now via Believe.
