Adam Jensen – All My Friends

It’s only been a month since his last release, but Adam Jensen is already back today with a new single called ‘All My Friends’, and it’s epic.

Written and produced in Jensen’s garage, this track is raw, bold, and distinctive. The aggressively charged sound reflects the intensity of the lyricism, which Jensen explains:

“The song is about not having any friends because they’re all dead or in jail or make believe. It’s essentially about living by the sword and dying by the sword.”

The song is lifted from Jensen’s forthcoming album, ‘Hymns for the Damned’, which is out soon.

Adam Jensen – Cellophane

American artist Adam Jensen is back today after a 9-month hiatus. That might not seem like a long time, but it’s the longest he’s taken without releasing music… and we think you’ll love his new work.

‘Cellophane’ is an epic indie-rock song that immediately commands your attention. With its 90’s-inspired garage-rock sound, the production feels refreshingly organic. Elaborating on the track’s lyrics, Jensen says:

“‘Cellophane’ is about your past suffocating your future. It is fuzz pedals set to maximum fuzz and huge, raw drum tones recorded at 3am in a smoke filled studio. It’s about the demons of your past becoming the demons of your future no matter how hard you try. You can’t escape your past. You can’t escape yourself.”

A debut album titled ‘Hymns for the Damned’ is on the way, which, impressively, was entirely written and produced by Jensen himself.
