Independent singer, songwriter, producer and visual artist Alekxandr returns today with a hauntingly beautiful release in the form of new single ‘sunflower’.
With it’s rich soundscape and intensely moving vocals, the song serves an anthem for lovers bereft.
Following the release of ‘twist the knife’ earlier this year, this is the second track from Alekxandr’s forthcoming EP ‘somewhere to go’, of which he says:
“I’m releasing an E.P. in slow motion. Being completely independent and Virgo means everything takes a long time but the full record will be out next year. I’m calling the project ‘somewhere to go’ after I heard someone at a funeral say “grief is just love with nowhere to go”. That rang true; except making this E.P. has given me somewhere to put my love and unresolved feelings.”
