B00sted – Selfish

Rising Canadian artist B00sted continues on his quest for global pop domination with new single, ‘Selfish’.

Lifted from the artist’s freshly released EP of the same name (out now), the track presents listeners with a well-constructed mix of hip hop, R&B and pop. Explaining the concept behind the visuals for the song, he says:

“Against the backdrop of lush, vibrant forests; the ‘Selfish’ video was inspired by the filming locations of the movie ‘Rambo: First Blood’ in Hope, BC (which is about an hour east of my hometown of Mission, BC). The concept of the video was that an enigmatic character is on a quest to find B00sted, symbolising the inescapable consequences that arise from acting selfishly.”

B00sted already commands more than 35k monthly listeners on Spotify, while his catalogue of releases has amassed millions of streams and views across digital players and YouTube. Keep this kid on your radars… we anticipate big things in his future.

New Music: B00sted

Hailing from Vancouver is rising rapper, singer and producer B00sted, who has just unveiled one of the first summer anthems of the year.

With its energising and infectiously uplifting blend of indie, hip hop and alternative pop, ‘She Wanna’ showcases a style of sound that is fresh, current, and enormously enjoyable to listen to. Elaborating on the song’s inspiration, the artist explains:

“‘She Wanna’ is a song about falling for someone even though you know it’s a bad idea. You find yourself getting lost in the moment and doing stuff you usually wouldn’t do. ‘She take drugs, she dance with the devil, does some things I’ll keep on the low.’ You know that she’s bad news, but you decide to take the risk anyway.

While still only 21-years of age, B00sted has impressively amassed more than seven million catalogue streams and over three million YouTube views.

With a loyal fanbase across social media and a natural flair for crafting hit songs, we think B00sted might just end up being one of Canada’s next superstars.
