Corella – Head Underwater

Manchester-formed outfit Corella are back with one of the biggest indie-rock singles of the week, and we’re certain you’ll love it too.

‘Head Underwater’ encapsulates that feeling of letting go, and connecting with your rebellious side. The production is energising and euphoric, making this the perfect weekend anthem.

“‘Head Underwater’ captures that night where you totally let go of your inhibitions. The atmosphere takes control of you and you’re living out your more rebellious alter ego that’s laid dormant in your waking life, drinking and partying till late and perhaps getting up to certain things that you may well regret the next morning.”

Corella have garnered praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Clash Magazine and Radio X. In anticipation of their upcoming ‘Once Upon A Weekend’ debut album (scheduled for release this May), the band will shortly hit the road – performing headline shows and also featuring in some festivals. Corella – Don’t Stop Me

Acclaimed UK rockers Corella have just unleashed a powerful new single, called ‘Don’t Stop Me’.

The track was written as a way to inspire listeners to follow their dreams, and reminds us that we are ultimately in control of our own destinies. Elaborating further on the song’s lyrics, they say:

“‘Don’t Stop Me’ is all about escaping from your normal lifestyle and chasing what you’re really passionate about. Being a young person in the UK these days can be a real challenge. It’s easy to fall into a dark place, especially when life feels tough on both an individual and societal level, and it can seem like everything and everyone is working against you and your dreams.”

“We wanted to remind people that even in the darkest moments, there will always be something to make you smile, and to our fans we wanted that something to be this song. When we play this live, we want to see them lose themselves in the music, even for just a moment; to forget all of life’s problems and stresses, as it’s important to immerse yourself in what gives you that buzz.”

You can catch the lads performing across the UK from next week – dates and venues listed below. Tickets are selling fast though, get them while you can!
