ill peach – BLAH BLAH BLAH

We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve featured ill peach – but to be quite frank, we just can’t get enough of their punchy alt-rock sound!

‘BLAH BLAH BLAH’ is the kind of song that makes an immediate impact from the moment you press play. Refreshingly colourful and unashamedly chaotic in tone, this is one track that needs to be on everyone’s playlists this weekend.

It’s been a big year for the duo, who have just completed a successful tour across the US and Canada with none other than global superstar Hayley Kiyoko.

ill peach will play The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on the 13th July – tickets can be found here.

ill peach – HOLD ON

Acclaimed Californian outfit ill peach start the year with a powerful piece of dark pop through new single ‘HOLD ON’.

The song was written for the new season of hit Netflix show ‘Ginny And Georgia’, and can be heard over the third episode’s most dramatic storyline.

No strangers to the Alfitude pages, ill peach continue to showcase themselves as one the most eclectic and versatile indie acts to have emerged from LA in recent years.

ill peach – BRIGHT LIGHTS

LA duo ill peach have proven themselves to be one the most promising outfits to emerge from California’s indie-pop scene lately, and new single ‘BRIGHT LIGHTS’ continues to prove this.

The track was inspired by the feelings of discomfort that can occur when life becomes too safe – and addresses our need to self-sabotage for the sake of progress.

“When you finally get out of the muck and things start to brighten but that first feeling is terrifying because you either don’t know how long it’s gonna last or you don’t know if you deserve to be there. The ways we self sabotage. It’s a universal feeling that all of our friends have expressed this year. So we wanted to write about that. It’s a way to feel connected with each other even if it’s through these challenges. Taking grip on optimism can feel unnatural sometimes. But we have to let go of that.”

ill peach perform alongside Everything Everything on select November dates – tickets can be found here.

ill peach – DANDELION

ill peach return today with a sound that is as intense as it is eccentric, serving us with an experimental take on indie-pop that is utterly exciting. On ‘DANDELION’ they say:

“We saw a lot of our friends either break up during the pandemic or get engaged. It was a lot of emotions to compact during a period of time for a lot of different people. The song captures that feeling. Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction meets Romeo and Juliet if you like a movie reference for it.”

Already picking up acclaim from the likes of Wonderland, Ones To Watch, CLASH, and Fashionably Early after just one EP release, this Californian duo should firmly be on everyone’s radar.
