“You know that feeling when you wake up everyday with anxiety telling you go go go’ but you have nowhere to go? Life just wants you to stay put and be patient? That’s when I wrote this song. I had so many songs I’d written that I wanted to get out there but was in the middle of still figuring out how to release and who to release with. I felt like I was a hamster on a wheel running in place. I wanted to get my life moving so badly but life wanted me to sit and wait. So everyday I’d get up with this feeling of wanting to progress fast but the progression was slow. I had a hard time accepting that.”
