Kelly Finnigan – The Hurting Truth

Acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Kelly Finnigan returns with a sublime new piece of soul music that continues to affirm his status as one of the genre’s most respected US talents.

‘The Hurting Truth’ is taken from Finnigan’s next project, ‘B-Sides, Singles & Forgotten Gems’ (out 14th August), which shines a light on some of the works he’s done in the past but never managed to make it to the outside world.

The track was recorded and produced in Finnigan’s Cincinnati studio alongside Jimmy James of Parlor Greens and treats listeners to a timeless slice of soul that is beautifully emotive.

Kelly Finnigan – Be Your Own Shelter

You really can’t beat a slice of classic soul music, and today’s release of ‘Be Your Own Shelter’ by acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Kelly Finnigan hits the spot perfectly.

The track has been unveiled as a taster to Finnigan’s upcoming ‘A Lover Born’ album, which is due on the 19th of October via Colemine Records (pre-order here).

The song itself is really quite perfect in its approach to the genre. The production is classic and nostalgic in style, with Finnigan’s vocals emanating powerful emotions.
