little luna – fool

We’re big fans of LA-based singer and songwriter little luna. The artist (and wellness advocate) returns today with a gorgeously nostalgic single that deserves your attention.

‘fool’ is taken from little luna’s sophomore ‘the wildflower woman’ project (out now), and presents listeners with an energising fusion of indie-rock and pop. Speaking more on her new EP, the musician explains:

“self-discovery is a seemingly simple idea, but a struggle I’ve carried for most of my life. each song on ‘the wildflower woman’ EP correlates with a different wildflower, and colour, giving you a visual palette to match this sentiment; we are continually in a state of growth and decay… and you are allowed to change! these lyrics are my most vulnerable yet, purposefully set to tempos you can blast out of your speakers as you navigate your own journey to your truest self. wildflowers grow on the side of the highway in the trash, yet remain beautiful and soft. they are resilient as hell, and so are we. i am a wildflower woman, and perhaps you are a wildflower person too?”

little luna currently commands 53k monthly listeners on Spotify, while her collection of songs have totalled more than two million streams. Fans can look forward to an upcoming tour later in the spring.

One of the most beautiful releases of the week comes courtesy of LA singer, songwriter and wellness advocate little luna.

Her timelessly elegant new single ‘under the wave’ is a subtly whimsical yet ethereal take on folk-pop that chronicles her fluctuating state of mind during meditation.

“This song, to me, is about how I feel in meditation. Sometimes my mind present and floating, Sometimes my thoughts tossing me around.”

Taken from the debut EP ‘through the self‘, which is out 29th April 2022 via AWAL Recordings.
