We’ve enjoyed Nashville artist Matt Sahadi’s music for quite some time, so we’re thrilled to see that he’s back with a mesmerising new single called ‘A Late Night Mantra’.
The track’s lyrics dwell on a former relationship that Sahadi experienced and focuses on the associated anxieties that he went through as a result. These feelings keep the artist awake in the night, and yet, “Promising himself he will move on in the morning, the pattern of destructive thinking leads Matt to realize that he “[Knows himself] better.”
Sonically, the track gathers its inspiration from works by the likes of The Cure and Fontaines DC. If this is your first time coming across Sahadi’s music, then be sure to explore his Spotify and give his latest EP, ‘Dreams That Kept Your Faith At Night,’ a spin here.
