Bringing a distinctly unique approach to EDM-pop, LA-based talent XIE officially launches her debut for Casablanca Records/ Republic Records with the release of ‘FANCY’.
“As the daughter of an immigrant, I was raised with the mindset of frugality and being happy with what you have. In the world we live in of excess and greed, it’s not always easy to allow yourself to be FANCY and give yourself things without feeling selfish. I wrote ‘FANCY’ to remind myself it’s okay to heal (traumas/ moods/ life) with self-love and gifts in whatever form I want. Getting FANCY is getting happy.”
