Hip hop that’s simply produced and performed but full of sincerity.

Track of the week. A suave RnB and indie pop fusion with a charming melodic essence.

“It is about self identity and trying to understand who I am supposed to be. It is really, really scary to write from a vulnerable place and know that it is about to be released into the world.”

“Warm is basically about wanting to keep my loved ones safe and secure. I talk about how I also need them to feel safe and secure. Ironically the song features hard drums, mellow ambient guitars and a cold vocal delivery.”

“We grew up in the 90’s when ‘Blue (da ba dee)’ was a massive hit, when we hear the original it just instantly takes us back to that era. That’s why the idea grew to rework it and create a futuristic and destructed version of the song. It’s pretty cool that we kinda idolised the band (Eiffel 65) when we were kids, and now got in touch with them to approve our rework for releasing it onto our own imprint called Simulated Paradise.”

Charmingly delicate yet playful Estonian pop. This track is a contender to represent the country in 2020’s edition of Europe’s biggest music show, the Eurovision Song Contest.

Another week, another pop gem from Albania. I am starting to feel this little European country has been overlooked lately for its talent. This is a polished slice of pop and RnB delivered in Albanian but still highly enjoyable. No wonder she’s already huge in her homeland…

Track of the week. Only running just over two minutes, this piece of RnB and soul takes you to another place with the very bare minimum. And that’s a powerful thing.
