Some of the most promising RnB talent emerging from London. This is a slice of pure bliss.

A Sydney-based talent who creates ambient and atmospheric sounds that are truly transcendental. This track is accompanied by vocals from Tashka.
“At the time the track was created, I was traveling through Croatia and found myself so inspired by my surroundings. I woke up at dawn at an island called Sljet with a melody stuck in my head that I just had to put down. I found myself recording ambient sounds that I layered within the track, as if to immortalise these memories. When I returned home, Tashka took the song to a completely different level. Hearing the melancholy in the chords, Tashka wanted to explore difficult and complicated relationships that tend to draw the worst out of people.”

Track of the week. A British alt-pop talent who’s sound connects together several genres in a perfect harmony.

Some of the most unique hip hop that I have experienced for some time. It’s both eclectic and confident, flirting between the past and future.

A dreamy pop sound that feels confident and bold, while still being chilled and mellow.
“I’ve learned how to come from a place of self-love and curiosity. All I wanted to do was make things that my friends and I thought were cool. It felt like the right time to get serious.”

A finessed and future-forward blend of pop, soul, and 90’s style RnB that compliments a gorgeously silky vocal from LA talent Sugar Joans.
“This song is about the beginning of a relationship fairytale honeymoon moment. It reminds people to focus on the things that are perfect about your partner, not their imperfections.”

Sometimes, the simplest ballads can have the most impact. This song is so relatable to anyone who’s experienced missing someone who lives far away.
“Distance and love combined is such a difficult thing. ‘california’ is about being separated by thousands of miles, and wanting to be with someone, but it just isn’t even close to reality. I wrote this from a place of hope, almost a dream state wanting something that doesn’t feel realistic.”
The debut EP ‘twenty one, twenty two’ is set to be released on 31st July.

A Dutch talent who creates dark and emotive pop tones with hints of synth and an essence of melancholy.
“It’s about how the ups and downs of life can all be part of love. Love can have many dimensions.”

One of the most gorgeous indie-pop ballads to have emerged from this year. A genuinely emotive and powerful piece.

There’s not a lot I can say about this track other than it being an absolutely massive pop banger from Norway. Infectiously fun.

An eclectic indie sound, fused with essences of the retro. It’s both charming and intriguing.

Words cannot begin to tell you how in love I am with this new UK-based artist. There’s a delicate blend of soul, indie, and sad-pop on this track which makes it one of the most refreshing tracks I have heard all month.
“It [The Weekend] takes you through the journey of being at a gathering or a social event with your partner, and feeling quite alone and distant from everything and everyone once your partner leaves- leaving you in a world of confusion and anxiousness. Of course you may find yourself intoxicated in these situations, and that’s what I am, which makes the whole scenario bigger than it already is – like I’m having a bad trip, and she’s not there to calm me down”.
