New Music: 4 Guys From The Future

”Just as the track is a multifaceted pop song we wanted tomake a multifaceted video. We were compelled about thiscertain space in which the abstract and the human emotionalare brought together with symbols about the universallife. The future, we believe, holds a new form of communityfor all people and this we will soon begin to encounter. Thatis why we want to explore symbols about the universal.” Check out here.

New Music: Matthew P

I’m not sure how long Matthew P has been around but I only just received an email about him today. This is the sort of laid back music I imagine someone writes up by the beach, which is very cool and makes me a bit jealous of being stuck in Shepherd’s Bush… Even though this isn’t the sort of think I would have on my iPod, I still think it’s worth mentioning. Anyway, check out here.

New Music: Wonderland

The revival of girl pop groups with big label backing continues in the shape of Wonderland, who are supporting Boyzone on their current tour. Their début, ‘Not a Love Song’ took a couple of listens to kick in, but I think it’s a pretty well crafted bit of pop. Check out here.

New Music: Entrepeneurs

Scared at first, this took about a minute to settle in before I got seduced by it’s very, very sexy beats. ‘Revenge Platter’ is fresh. Check out here.

New Music: Yasmin

How amazing is this track? Argh so good! Yasmin is going to go major for sure, this is just so well produced- a big throwback to 90’s beats with a fast-paced, breezy soul vibe. Check out here.

New Music: Gold Panda

Actually, Gold Panda has been around for a little while now but I guess it too me time to figure just how amazing they are. Their song ‘Marriage’ is gorgeous, and for a cold, grey Sunday in London like today it’s the perfect uplifter. Check out here.

New Music: Machine Gun Kelly

Fresh hip-hop from Cleveland, Ohio.  The video above has already been seen over half a million times on YouTube, and features cameo’s by Travis Porter and B.o.B. Fun. Check out here.

New Music: Brandyn Burnette

Impressive soul/ pop from a 21 year old guy with very sexy voice. One to watch for sure. Check out here.

New Music: The Pusher

This is a bit huge in Sweden at the moment, and I can totally see why. How do the Swedes get it so right so much of the time!? A rock/pop vibe with a big big sound. Check out here.

New Music: Allen Stone

American pop, I don’t think he’s signed up yet but check out ‘Another Break Up Song’- its brilliant, and his voice carries pretty nicely. Check out here.

New Music: Den Svenska Björnstammen

Some Swedish pop now- title to the track roughly translates to ‘everything will be good’, or maybe ‘everything will be OK’… Even if you can’t understand the words it still kinda makes you feel good! Check out here.

New Music: Audrianna Cole

This little lady has an amazingly powerful voice, and listening to ‘Misplaced’ literally made me stop and escape into my own world for a few minutes. So excited I’ve stumbled across Audrianna Cole. Check out here.

New Music: Moses Melkonian

“I write my music to share moments that we all experience.  Whether that moment was when I thought ‘shit, you’re beautiful’ or ‘wow, the view from here is great,’ it doesn’t matter, because we all feel greatness like that, usually together, as a collective entity.  And you know that’s happening when a killer track comes on and everyone’s dancing.  It’s like wow! – what’s happening here?  Those moments are timeless, and I want to feel them in everything I do. I create my tracks from impulsive feelings, and for me it’s just about staying true to that  impulse, and letting that mature and grow into something transcendental.” I haven’t heard of Moses Melkonian until today, and there doesn’t seem to be much out there online about his work but this is simply a gorgeous piece of music. Check out here.

New Music: The Shoes

Saw this band in the Guardian last week as one of Mike Skinner’s featured new acts. French electro pop with a dark, grounded edge to it. Check out here.

New Music: Erika Fatale

This lady has been on my radar for a while now. Very strong voice, Erika Fatale has a vibe which makes me think this is the sort of music Christina Aguilera would be doing if she had her head screwed on properly. Having listened to a few of her tracks, I have a feeling it’ll be a matter of time before she blows up in the pop world… ‘Liquid’ is an impressive tune. Check out here.

New Music: Lectrolips

Lectrolips make music which I can only sum up as cheeky electropop. It’s fun. Their song ‘Stromotion’ was recently used in the WAHL UK commercial campaign. I have a WAHL, without which I would probably look like a monster. So on that account, I reckon they’re good. They’ve got some good tracks which you can download for free here, or check out their blog.

New Music: The New Spring

”When being in love everything that was inside before is now worn outside. Sweat bubbles in your palms, blood flushes through to the cheek (blushing). This feeling illustrates more than anything else the body’s reluctance to take a definite form”. Beautiful acoustic songs about love from Bastian Kallesøe. Check out here.

New Music: Parade

I can be a massive sucker for girl bands (I can’t help it). These ladies could (and probably will) rival The Saturdays very soon- ‘Louder’ is pop perfection. Check out here.
