John Legend – Who Do We Think We Are
I’ve always had a soft spot for John Legend. I remember catching him at Manchester Academy when he released his first album, on the night before the biggest exam of my uni life, half ridden with guilt for being there and half feeling soulfully euphoric. I’m enjoying his new track, it’s easy on the ears.
New album’s out June 24th, and this single is out June 16th.
First Listen: Miles Kane ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’

Josh Record is streaming his full EP…
Have a listen to this gorgeous EP from Josh Record. Are you seeing him in London tomorrow at The Lexington? I am…
A crack dealers’ gun ballad
This track is being billed as ‘Dark Side – a crack dealers’ gun ballad’. It’s actually a pretty beautiful melody, right up and through it’s change of tempo half way through. Very interesting sound from the Swedish duo.
First Listen: Ifan Dafydd ‘Llonydd’
Something ethereal and lovely from Ifan Dafydd.
Rita Ora and the National Citizen Service

Track of the week, just because it’s so different but still feels like something familiar. Check out here.
First Listen: Devlin ‘Love Cards’ feat Etta Bond
One of my favourite MC’s and one of my favourite new female vocalists get together in this track, out on May 6th. It’s a little bit epic.
New Music: Rangleklods
This has to be the best dance track of the week, maybe the whole month. Experimental electro from Denmark. Check out here.
So Close

New Music: Kwes.
New Music: LIFE
This is one of those quirky indie songs that sound like nothing you would have heard before. It took me a little while to get used to it but once the chorus kicks in it’s nothing short of great. The track will be available as a free download on 27th May. Check out here.
