daysormay – Just Existing

Canadian alt trio daysormay have been consistently delivering outstanding bangers lately. ‘Just Existing’ is no exception; this is a loud, bold and upbeat song that commands your attention. On the song, they say:

“It was actually a mashup of 3 older songs we wrote that never went anywhere. We noticed there were parts in all of them that were cool, but the rest was just weighing them down, so we kind of Frankensteined all 3 ideas together into one.” – Aidan Andrews, daysormay

The upcoming album ‘Just Existing’ is out on 6th October 2020.

daysormay – Ego

One of my favourite outfits of late, daysormay are back, with new single ‘Ego’. Oscillating between the points of view of multiple characters, this is a hard-hitting and intense track that still somehow feels eccentric and fun at the same time.

“’Ego’ started as a songwriting exercise. I was trying to see if I could write in different voices, as different characters. My goal was to be as un-aidan as possible. Just to see what I would get. – Aidan Andrews, daysormay

Watch out for the upcoming album ‘Just Existing’ which lands this autumn.

daysormay – Everything Is Changing

Vancouver-based alt-pop trio daysormay are back today with a song that beautifully presents the thoughts and worries we all had when when we were coming of age.

“We had all just graduated high school about a month before, and, even though I knew we were jumping right into music, I still felt like I had just swam over a drop-off into the deep end.”

daysormay – Running

This Canadian trio seem to get more momentum with each release, and rightfully so. Their style of polished alt-pop has a sense of uniqueness which encapsulates the essence of youth and all the melancholy that comes with it.
