Gavin Haley – Mine

Following a successful tour run with Tate McRae, Gavin Haley returns with one of the catchiest releases of the week. ‘Mine’ is a classic summer-pop bop that has one of the most infectious choruses you’ll likely hear for some time.

The song’s lyrics were inspired by the process of moving on from a relationship – reminiscing of the good times while overlooking the bad ones.

“’Mine’ is about missing something more once it’s gone. Once you’re removed from a situation it’s easy to remember just the good moments. I find this to be true especially with people and places. We let ourselves back into relationships or situations because we romanticise what it was.”

To date, Haley has garnered over 100 million catalogue streams, and currently commands over 600k monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Debut album ‘i hate you, Don’t Leave Me’ is out 15th July 2022 via Red Bull Records, pre-order here.

Gavin Haley – Cliche

Gavin Haley has been a frequent mention on this site for quite some time thanks to his ever-impressive roster of releases. New single ‘Cliche’ continues to showcase Haley’s evolution as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

“‘Cliche’ is about navigating a relationship with somebody who loves space, and the confusion that causes for somebody who loves to be close. It’s a heart on my sleeve moment, but instead of it being slow tempo and sad I wanted to communicate sonically how frustrated I really felt.”

The track is taken off Haley’s upcoming debut album, which came together with the help of co-writers Skylar Mones (Dua Lipa, Kesha), B Ham (Kim Petras, Maroon 5, Kiana Lede), and Trey Campbell (Amber Mark, Banks).

Gavin Haley – Body Language

LA-based indie-pop talent Gavin Haley returns with a vibey slice of bliss in the form of new single ‘Body Language’.

Haley worked on the track alongside co-producers & writers Skylar Mones (Dua Lipa, Kesha) and Nick Bailey (Demi Lovato, Marshmello, Machine Gun Kelly).

“I don’t want to be somebody who just makes sad songs or happy songs. I want to tell stories. I want my songs to aid listeners in whatever they’re going through. On one side, I’m this vulnerable kid who wants to be held. On the other side, I’m this passionate, energetic, and loud guy. It’s a very fine line between them.”
