An epic return for the mighty Professor Green featuring one of the big stand-out debut artists of the year, Emeli Sandé.
Live: Professor Green at Somerset House
Just back from seeing Professor Green (with support from Ed Drewett) at Somerset House in London. It’s a bit of an unusual place to have a gig like this, but that made it all the more fun. Was very good. Previews of Green’s new material were really very good- I have a feeling his next album (out in October) will be tons better than the first one (although that was pretty good too). He played my favourite track on the album, the hugely ‘Goodnight‘, which was awesome. Another highlight was an appearance of Emeli Sandé. Can’t wait to see more of this girl!
Spot the hip hop difference
One’s a huge MC from the UK, the other from Sweden. Both have massive followings and raid the charts in their own countries constantly. Both released albums last year. Both signed to the same label ( I think). Petter and Professor Green.
New Music: Ed Drewett
You’ll recognise this guy from the Professor Green track, ‘I Need You Tonight’. I reckon Ed Drewett will be pretty large this time next year judging from the demo’s on his Myspace. Check out here.
