I get so excited when I hear new UK talent like this. I really don’t see this former backing singer for Omar and Rhian Benson not making it into the mainstream! She’s been building a name for herself over the past year covering popular songs by the likes of Lil’ Wayne and Wretch 32, and by releasing two singles, ‘Heartbreaker’ and ‘Save You’. Now she’s released mixtape with a cover of Labrinth‘s ‘Last Time’ as well as six new tracks tracks of her own. Check out here.

New Music: Josh Kumra
I love love love this hard! Josh was the featured vocalist on Wretch 32′s no.1 hit single ‘Don’t Go’ (or click here for a stunning acoustic version). I’m really excited to see where this kid lands up because he’s bound to get huge very fast. Check out here.
New Music: Varren Wade
This track made me smile, which is a change from all the serious electropop being thrown around my inbox these days. Fresh UK rnb. He’s been working with Neyo, Mario Winans, Jamelia, Wretch 32, Harmony [Chris Brown, Chipmunk, Maroon 5], Hypertone [JLS, RD, Mike Hough], and Fullerfix [Sway, Snoop Dogg]. Check out here.

This is always an exciting bit of news every year for me. - Jessie J

I’ve managed to clock 6 of those in the last year… not bad going if I do say so myself! The top five will be revealed in the week commencing 3 January.
