There’s a bit of an emergence of indie rock of late coming out of Denmark. Like these guys, and their sound is catchy as hell. Check out here.

New Music: Empire Machines
New Music: Alice & The Glass Lake
A dreamy, ethereal and uplifting sound. Check out here.
New Music: Rigas
I haven’t heard of Rigas before, but this Swedish indie track is worth listening to because it has a bit of a ‘Sign ‘O’ The Times‘ vibe around it. Check out here.
New Music: By The Rivers
Reggae… from Leicester. The bit after the 1:30 mark is particularly fun. Check out here.
New Music: Hiatus
New Music: I.O.U.
I’ll be honest – I’m not sure I like the video to this BUT the track put a huge smile on my face… So here’s to a happy Wednesday! Check out here.
New Music: Julia Biel
An extraordinarily beautiful, subtle jazzy sound that makes me think back to 90’s trip hop. Check out here.
New Music: Story Books
New Music: Humfree Bug Art
Gorgeously quirky Swedish indie. I’d love to hear this go through an epic remix to see how it sounds. Check out here.
New Music: Bobbie Gordon
This sound mixes drum and bass with RnB and a little pop. Check out here.
New Music: Kurt Collins
New Music: Zemmy
Sometimes a piece of music is so beautiful that it doesn’t really matter how current, or on-trend it is, it deserves a listen. This track from Zemmy is the sort of thing that reminds you to just take a breath… Nice. Check out here.
New Music: Alida
New Music: The Tin Drums
One of my favourite tracks of the week. It’s a grower, and it’s very cute. Two very strong voices and a folky sound that really catches the ears. Check out here.
New Music: Yes Sir Boss
The first signing from Joss Stone’s new label. It’s full of horns and a general feel-goodness. I can see them being pretty spectacular live, which is just as well since they are touring in April. Check out here.
New Music: Grace Valerie
I make a very strong habit of listening to music before reading anything about the artists. When I first played this I thought it was a pleasant enough pop track, but was shocked to see that this lady has a quarter of a million likes on Facebook, over one and a half million views on YouTube and a deal with Randy Jackson. Not bad… Check out here.
New Music: Laurel Canyons
I’m noticing that there’s a fair bit of feel-good guitar music out there at the moment. Maybe endorsing the fact that there’s an expectation the genre will take off this year. Whether that will happen or not I don’t know. This is pretty fresh though. Check out here.
