Alexander Wolfe – Everythinglessness

Alexander Wolfe has become somewhat of a fixture on these pages, and for good reason. The recent releases teasing his upcoming ‘Everythinglessness’ album (out 16th January) have all been sensational, both sonically and lyrically.

Wolfe today shares with us the titular song from the album, and as we’ve come to expect, it’s a flawless piece of indie music. Despite its minimalism, the track expresses some powerful emotions, as it details the moments when you first recognise your mind fracturing.

“The first time something breaks. Your body goes off, your brain can’t keep up… ‘Am I dying”‘ ‘Is this a heart attack”‘ I remember that moment so clearly. Realising I wasn’t the same as everyone else.”

New Music: januaryy.

Newcomer januaryy., who hails from Toronto in Canada, only came across our radars this week with his new single, ‘HERCULES’.

Inspired by themes of escapism and insecurity, the song showcases a melancholic fusion of indie and dreamy pop. The track is alternative and raw but still maintains a sense of vulnerability, which makes it feel relatable to listeners.

“‘HERCULES’ lives in a numb, reflective space. The narrator recognizes his own behavior without fully confronting it yet, judging others while repeating the same patterns. The chorus leans into irony, using the image of Hercules to represent a temporary, fragile sense of power created through validation and distraction.”

Despite releasing only two songs to date, we’re intrigued by januaryy.’s refreshingly original sound. This could well be one of Canada’s next new talents to look out for!

We only came across American artist Sara Diana today, and we’re really impressed with what we’ve heard.

‘Is That Blood’ is a beautifully haunting piece of cinematic pop that is doused with drama. It’s dark, intense, and utterly spellbinding to experience.

Diana currently draws in more than 40k monthly listeners on Spotify and has amassed over three million career streams on the platform, proving that this is a talent worth keeping on your radars. It’s going to be an exciting year ahead for this artist!

New Music: Faint Tape

We’re starting the new year with a hypnotic anthem from rising American talent Faint Tape.

This outfit’s style of work (according to their own words) is ‘somewhere between cassette soul, soft chaos, and TikTok heartbreaks. We write songs for the part of you that never hits send.‘

‘BITE’, though, is somewhat of a divergence from Faint Tape’s usual style. This is a dark yet deviously playful electronic pop song that fuses pulsing beats with an airy vocal, resulting in a sound that is both intriguing and infectious.

The track follows on from their ‘Ghost B-Sides’ EP, which was released last year and can be heard here.

U V A R O V is a Ukrainian-born, independent artist based in London, who has been working on his music since the age of 13. This talent draws from a wide range of musical genres to create his own distinctive sound – from hip hop to electronica.

‘[Autr0]’ is the closing track from U V A R O V’s latest album, ‘Raznoobrazie’ (listen here), and showcases an impressive fusion of drum & bass and UK garage.

We came across a really interesting (and mysterious) artist today, and we’re blown away by their work.

sevyz is a producer, songwriter and remix artist who crafts some of the most compelling electronic pop that we’ve experienced in quite some time.

‘Love Letter’ presents the listener with a production that starts off somewhat controlled, gradually adding instrumentation that increases in intensity.

Four-time Grammy-nominated artist Sara Diamond began writing ‘Mother’ at the end of last month, sharing clips on social media along the way. In that time, those posts gathered a tonne of momentum – an Instagram clip for the song totalled 1.2m views alone.

Fans who demanded a full version of the song will be pleased today, as the track has just been released. And it’s a beautiful, deeply moving piece of music with some of the most powerful words we’ve heard in a song in some time.

Swiss experimental artist Pet Owner has held a special place in our hearts for some time. She’s back today with a wonderful new single, called ‘After Summer’.

Crafted as a ‘hyperfolk ballad’, this song really is an experience; lyrically introspective – inspired by the theme of ‘wanting to sense it all, yet feel nothing’ – while sonically avant-garde and refreshingly intriguing.

New Music: Ella Conder

UK-based newcomer Ella Conder is a promising electronic artist who is not only a singer but also a songwriter and producer. We came across this 22-year-old talent today and had to share her work with you.

Inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish and Kate Bush, Conder crafts a style of sound that carries an undertone of melancholy. New single ‘How Does It Feel?‘ is a perfect introduction for listeners yet to discover her work. This thought-provoking track was inspired by the effects of bullying, and makes a powerful statement against those who hurt others.

“Working on this track with my best mate Ben was one of the most inspiring days we’ve had in the studio. We wanted to build a little sound world that felt dark and moody, but still held a softness that lets you sink into a more introspective place. We produced it in a completely different way than we normally do, using instruments we don’t usually reach for, and it gave the song a raw, new energy that really excited us. Lyrically, it’s really about those moments where I take on feelings from how people interact with me, and reminding myself I don’t have to carry the weight of their actions.”

We’re starting the week with a refreshing alt-pop singer & songwriter from Florida, going by the name of malaya (pronounced‘muh-lie-uh’).

This talent has a unique approach to music-making that tastefully blends elements of pop with funk, R&B, and jazz. New single ‘man gone, better’ is an impressive track that feels both finessed and eccentric at the same time.

“‘man gone, better’ is a soundtrack meant for a James Bond action movie. A cinematic, heart-racing dance club anthem initially disguised as a break up song. This is the song you listen to before a job interview, at the gym, or even when in need of a good old cry.”

malaya has amassed more than 190k streams from only a handful of songs, which is no easy feat. Judging from what we’ve heard from this artist, we think she might well become one of Florida’s most exciting pop exports in 2026.

New Music: Dolder

TRACK OF THE WEEK

Dolder are a rising UK-based outfit consisting of identical twins Dani and Zara. We’re absolutely mesmerised with their new single, ‘The Motive’, which has just been released alongside their debut EP of the same name (listen here).

This Newcastle duo’s style of sound fuses indie and alternative pop and treats listeners to melodic songs that are easy to listen to while also being loaded with thoughtful lyrics.

Dolder have so far garnered praise from outlets as prominent as Rolling Stone, Wonderland, NME and Dork magazines. Not bad going for these two very gifted siblings!

Lily Lane – Amnesia

Acclaimed American soul starlet Lily Lane has just dropped a brand new EP, ‘Domesticated’ (listen here), along with a fresh single called ‘Amnesia’.

One of Berlin’s most exciting emerging music artists, in our opinion, is Cheap Wedding, and if her streaming and airplay figures are anything to go by, it looks like we’re not the only ones who think this way.

If you’re in the mood for some finessed soul-R&B, then we’ve got a perfect talent to share with you today, going by the name of Gianna Alessi.
