There was zero doubt in my mind that this Danish talent was going to be huge, and it’s so great to see it come to reality; he’s recently hit 12 millions streams on Spotify with ‘Beautiful Scars’.
“I hung out with the wrong people and did a lot of things I regret. I literally lived my life on the edge at the age of 13 and ‘Beautiful Scars’ is me learning to deal and live with my flaws.”
If I could compare this sound to anything, I would say… a 1970’s disco-ballad. It’s not an easy sound to summarise but madly infectious.
“‘My Game’ is feverish time travel into every dimension where the hustle is on the floor. It’s a disco game board with a pair of cherry red dice rolling in my favour. I’m climbing up onto the table in my glitter platforms and I’m calling the shots.”

“I go to this dance party called Funky Soul on Saturdays and one time these guys were dressed as 70s porny cowboys and I created this story in my head about their lifestyle. This video was inspired by the music video for Prince’s ‘Raspberry Beret.’ The general vibe and energy of that video reminds me of my dance party so I tried to meld the two. Also, I really wanted to introduce the world to my red hot band boys Conor and Jared, who are disco men in their own right.”

“The ‘Bottle Of Wine’ video was recorded prior to quarantine, but serves as a representation of what can happen when we feel disconnected to the people we love and to ourselves. In the end, I realise all I really needed was to remember and be reminded that I am loved.”
