We can’t seem to get enough of B.Miles’s work, but then again, when you listen to songs like ‘+1’, can you blame us?
The track serves as a taster to the New Yorker’s latest album, ‘Time Doesn’t Heal. It Hides’ (listen here), and presents us with a finessed blend of indie and lo-fi pop.
Lyrically, the song speaks of the need for us to feel loved and wanted, even when we know that we could face a heavy loneliness in the aftermath.
“You don’t expect love. But you hope being wanted feels close enough. For a little while, you let yourself believe it is.”
With a decade’s worth of acclaimed music and more than 30 million career streams to date, B.Miles has established herself as one of NY’s most beloved indie artists. We’re excited to see what comes next!
Rising UK talent Maya Randle has just unveiled her newest EP, ‘redemption pt.2’ (listen here), and along with it a new track called ‘say my name’.
The song, as well as the wider EP itself, showcases some of the most interesting pop to emerge from the country, finely balancing experimental productions with classic beats inspired by the sounds of the 90s.
Despite being only 24 years old, Randle has already picked up significant momentum online, amassing more than 10 million streams on Spotify while also commanding more than 68k monthly listeners on the platform.
Maya has also received support from outlets as prominent as BBC Radio 1, Wonderland Magazine, and DJ Mag.

It’s a big weekend for Los Angeles singer and songwriter Angélica Garcia, as she unveils her very first independent release, the impressive ‘BUTTERFLY’.
Created in collaboration with Dave Sitek and Ciel, the song treats listeners to a bold and punchy electronic production that is instantly captivating. The track was inspired by Angélica’s experience working in one of New York’s most iconic queer venues, ‘House of Yes’.
The song epitomises the essence of nightclub life and the importance of its culture, not only to those who go partying but also to those who are within the communities they foster.
SELL EVERYTHING are well on their way to becoming one of Ireland’s next big indie exports. The group just released a new single, in collaboration with Patricia Lalor, called ‘Star Girl’, and it’s everything we love to hear.
The track fuses fuzzy indie rock with groovy synths, resulting in a sound that is both nostalgic yet also refreshingly future-forward. It’s unlike anything we’ve come across this week, and we’re already excited to see what these kids come up with next.

“Being part of this song with Tainy is an immense honor. I’ve always admired the way he has paved new paths in the genre and how he continues to evolve and take risks without fear. This song gave me the chance to know him on a more personal level, to understand how he thinks and to share my own perspective with him as well. There’s a musical chemistry between us that I didn’t know existed and discovering it was truly special.” – Karol G

Today’s release of ‘Blood’ by Faroese artist Elinborg has really blown us away. It’s been a minute since we’ve come across something this flawless from the Nordic region.
It’s electronic pop at its most elevated. The song is dark, intense, and cinematic and is a reworking of an original version by the artist called ‘Blóð’, now with English lyrics. Elinborg explains:
“I chose to release an English version of my song ‘Blood’ not only because it holds a very special place in my heart, but also because I wanted to explore how my sound might change when I switch languages. I’ve always been intrigued by different languages, and even though Faroese has a special place in my heart—and I’ll absolutely continue writing in it—I think it’s important to grow and evolve as an artist. That’s why I wanted to try releasing English versions as well: to reach a more international audience, but also to add new colors to my artistic world.”
If you love this sound as much as we do, then make sure you explore the artist’s latest album, ‘Í Ævir’, over on Spotify.
Irish artist Ocean Tisdall might have just written one of the most beautiful breakup songs of the year, the incredibly moving ‘Jealous’.
We’ve all been through it – when a relationship falls apart and we watch the person who was once such a big part of our lives move on, while we ourselves struggle to come to terms. Ocean explains:
‘‘I wrote ‘Jealous’ in April this year up in Edinburgh with my friend and producer, Prentice. The song is about watching someone move on so easily after heartbreak – as if what you had meant nothing – while you’re left completely paralysed. It’s that feeling of seeing them eating, sleeping, and going out like normal, while you can’t even function, and realising how unaffected they are compared to you.
‘Jealous’ explores that uncomfortable emotion that most of us don’t like to admit feeling. We’re often taught that jealousy is ugly – that it makes us seem bitter or small – so instead of understanding it, we tend to push it away or hate ourselves for feeling it. But really, jealousy often just points to an unfulfilled need in your own life that someone else has managed to meet in theirs. After writing the song, I realised that jealousy fades once you start recognising your own worth, rebuilding your self-esteem, and Realising your value isn’t determined by someone else’s affection or attention.”
Ocean’s music has seen him get compared to the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Cian Ducrot, and Tom Odell. As a songwriter, he never shies away from sharing his most heartfelt thoughts and emotions, creating meaningful connections with listeners all across the world.
London-based Australian producer and engineer Yelderbert (aka Max Dowling) crafts a very special style of music which is experimental and unique without alienating its listeners.
‘Chances’ is the artist’s first release in more than two years and blends lo-fi electronica with elements of jazz and alternative pop. The sound is spontaneous and unpredictable but at the same time is also deeply emotive.
“‘Chances’ came from that uncomfortable feeling when you know you’ve hurt someone close to you — when you’re reckoning with your own flaws but still hoping to make it right. It’s about accountability, mainly.”
Dowling is an ARIA-nominated musician who, alongside his own solo projects, has also worked with the likes of Partiboi69, Allysha Joy, and Parvyn.
Mindy Gledhill returns today with one of her most heartfelt releases to date. ‘Livin’ the Dream’ explores how artists and creatives alike struggle to form meaningful connections with the rest of the world, more so now with social media curbing our attention spans.
Sonically, the track treats listeners to a dreamy fusion of folk, country and pop. The softness of the production allows for Gledhill’s vocals and lyrics to really shine through and connect with the listener.
If this is your first time coming across Gledhill’s music, then be sure to check out her most recent project, ‘The Phone Booth Sessions, Vol. 1’ over on Spotify.
Alexander Wolfe is back today with a powerful new single, called ‘To Feel Love’.
Lifted from the acclaimed singer and songwriter’s forthcoming ‘Everythinglessness’ album (out 16th January), this rousing song touches on themes of escapism and chasing euphoria in a bid to feel less alone.
“Escaping from your problems and boredom by going out and getting wasted, a trap I have certainly fallen into myself. It’s about that endless search for love and excitement and how it can lead you astray.”
‘Everythinglessness’ was written during a difficult time in Wolfe’s life and is inspired by today’s society shifting its ideas of what masculinity ought to be:
“There’s a crisis around masculinity at the moment, you see it played out by grifters like Andrew Tate and Tommy Robinson. I believe the way through isn’t by hardening, but softening. We need more examples of soft, strong men.”
If you’re based in London then you can catch Alexander at his album launch show on the 24th January at Christchurch – tickets here.

The song itself is likely to be familiar to the band’s fanbase, as it’s been teased at their shows for the last two years, becoming a favourite on the setlist.
“We knew when we heard this song that this was a special one. There was a real excitement in the room—the sort that sends shivers.” – Cameron Dawson, Bassist, Mamas Gun
The band’s tour centres around the UK and starts next March, landing in major cities across the country.
Fans of Tame Impala and Beck might just have a new band to add to their playlists, going by the name of Kewl Haze.
Hailing from Philadelphia, this duo (consisting of musicians Dan Scott Forreal and Derek Sheehan) create some of the most charming psychedelic rock-pop to come out of the US right now.
New single ‘Used To Have It All’ is a perfect taster for listeners. The track fuses indie with shoegaze and psychedelica in a way that’s playful and light-hearted.
“We would have a couple of beers before studio sessions, talk about life, and that led to an openness in the studio. A lot of life happened in the span of making the record, some hectic and difficult situations, but we laughed our asses off. We took a lighthearted outlook on everything we wrote about.”
Kewl Haze will release their debut LP, ‘Suburban Sherpa’, soon. In the meantime, be sure to follow this promising outfit on their socials and on Spotify.
Thomas DaVinci (aka Thomas Gentry) is an interesting artist who recently came across our radars. Based in Chicago, Thomas is a master of many talents – he’s a rapper, singer, performer, producer and engineer.
His latest release, ‘Never Hold Me Back’, was created by Thomas in its entirety and showcases an experimental style of hip hop which also blends elements of electronica and indie into the mix. Speaking on the song, he says:
“‘Never Hold Me Back’ is a groove you can vibe you to in multiple ways. The context is introspective and is about new found love. Something we all long for. Whether it be in relationships with someone outside of you or with the person within you.”
You can explore more of the artist’s music on Spotify right here, where Thomas has already amassed thousands of streams to date.
Danish artist Asbjørn kicks off the week with a nostalgic bop that could have very easily fit into a playlist from a London radio station in the 90s.
‘show u the future’ is a collaboration with La Boum Fatale and blends a classic UK garage sound with electronic pop in a way that feels retro but also current. It’s playful and optimistic and harks back to a time when club culture was at its peak.
“‘show u the future’ rewinds to a time of skipping snare rolls, shuffling 2‑step grooves, and late‑night bassline pressure. This one is for the ravers, the lovers, the dreamers in the corner, dancing till sunlight creeps through the blinds.”
The song serves as a taster to Asbjørn’s upcoming project, ‘HAUSPARTY’, an EP inspired by club music and the nightlife culture, and its unique way of building communities out of music lovers.
London-based Kurdish viral star BANA continues to take over the world with her newest single, ‘Ripple Effect’. If there’s one song that’s likely to push this artist into the UK mainstream, then this is it.
The track infuses nostalgia-inspired dark pop (the kind mastered by producers like Max Martin in the 00s) with underground beats, giving listeners an edgy but familiar sound. It’s pop at its best and showcases BANA’s vocals beautifully.
BANA is already a huge name for Kurdish music fans. Her single ‘Birwa Nakem‘ has received 132m views on TikTok alone and almost 10m views on YouTube. Her work has also been featured by the likes of Wonderland Magazine and Ones to Watch.
The artist is currently working alongside industry legends like Mojam (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware) as well as Starsmith (Zedd, Lady Gaga) and Frances (Dua Lipa, SG Lewis).
While still only 20 years of age, US singer and songwriter avalon has already won our hearts. We can’t express how much we’ve fallen in love with this artist’s work, and her new single, ‘how to lie’, is sure to add even more hype for the talented starlet.
The track encapsulates the devastating pain that we suffer from broken relationships. The song projects intensity and rawness but also feels vulnerable and fragile. avalon explains:
“‘how to lie’ was written almost two years ago. I was talking to someone that I really liked. One day I was in a session and got a call from that person. I went to the bathroom and as the conversation went on, I began to realize I was getting dumped. When I am upset I write poetry and so during the phone call I went to my notes app and started to write these poems. I went back into the session and sang the poems I had written literally 2 minutes prior, with tears in my eyes and a runny nose. It was so real and raw.
Obviously that situation sucks but I am so happy the song was recorded in that painful moment. During the period of sadness from that situitionship ending, I would listen to the song and feel so seen and understood. It really got me through that hard time. When I tease ‘how to lie’ on social media I get comments saying ‘I can feel the emotion wow’ and it gives me goosebumps every time because I was literally crying in the take we used.
I hope this song can bring comfort to people who don’t feel enough or who don’t feel seen. The song is about giving a whole plate and constantly getting a crumb in return- it is not about a breakup, my experience just happened to be in that form. So I dedicate this song to people who love hard and love fast in any situation. It is very draining and lonely sometimes. You are not alone, I see you, I hear you and I wrote this song for you.”
avalon’s authentic approach to songwriting tells us that this is an artist who is certain to pick up momentum in 2026. This is a talent unafraid to share her truest emotions with the world, and that’s something incredibly refreshing to experience.
Missouri newcomer willoh unveils a dreamy new single today, and we’re quite sure you’ll be as mesmerised as we were when you play it.
‘OUCHIE’ sounds like nothing else we’ve come across recently. It’s playful, eccentric, and experimental, but it still feels emotive and loaded with tension.
The track is broken into several acts and evolves the longer you listen. The result is a piece of music that keeps listeners engaged throughout, never quite knowing what to expect with each minute that passes.
“’OUCHIE’ is about holding everything in and the breaking point that comes when you can’t anymore. It’s the sound of that explosion.”
Hailing from Springfield, willoh has only recently come across our radars. The release of her self-produced debut earlier this year, titled ‘not more than that, but more please’, received critical acclaim and has amassed more than 100k streams on her Spotify to date.
