I don’t write much about Quantic because they’re a personal favourite and sometimes it’s nice to be selfish and keep some things to myself. Plus, they’ve been around for longer than I can remember. However, it is Friday and I feel really good, and I want you to as well. So enjoy these new visuals from Quantic and Alice Russell.

First Watch: Ms. Henrik ‘Doing It For The Man’
The more I listen to Ms. Henrik the more compelled I become with him. This is the new video to his single, and it’s weird and awkward but seems to make sense. To me, anyway.
First Watch: Jamie Lidell ‘You Naked’
This track mixes so many different styles that it close to gave me a headache but I still couldn’t stop listening. It all makes so much sense when the chorus bit kicks in.
First Watch: VAZ ‘Let It Rest’
I can’t get enough of these two quirky Swedes. It’s the kind of pop music that keeps things interesting.
First Watch: Left Boy ‘Black Dress’
One of London’s new bad boys, Left Boy’s new single is a little bit mind-blowing. He’s playing London’s Scala on February 5th.
First Watch: Crooked Hands ‘Under’
First Watch: Electric Guest ‘The Bait’
I featured Electric Guest back in the summer of 2011, and this new track is proof of just how good this duo is.
First Watch: Jenn D ‘You Keep Giving Me Love’
First Watch: Svenstrup & Vendelboe ‘Where Do We Go From Here’
First Watch: Adam Tensta & Elliphant ‘Rat In The Snow’
I’m starting the week with two Swedish heavyweights. One one side you’ve got the Scandinavian rap institution that is Adam Tensta and on the other you have the fierce, up and coming electro/indie starlet Elliphant. Together they’ve come up with some seriously dirty, dark beats that are simply wicked.
First Watch: Frida Sundemo ‘Snow’
Another beautiful cut from Alfitude favourite Frida Sundemo’s new EP, ‘Indigo’ out 25th March. So, so excited about this one. She actually makes my stomach fill with butterflies.
First Watch: Fleur ‘Turn The Lights On’
I’m looking forward to seeing what 2013 brings for Fleur. This is the video to her new track, ‘Turn The Lights On’, out February 17th.
First Watch: The Neighbourhood ‘A Little Death’
This track (the B-side to ‘Let It Go,’) was previewed to the world just before Christmas, and now the visuals have gone live. Such a sexy sound- 2013’s going to erupt for The Neighbourhood.
First Watch: Noah Vinson ‘I Love You’
One of my favourite bits of hip hop from the last year (purely on it’s unashamed similarity to the work of N*E*R*D), here are the visuals to Noah Vinson’s ‘I Love You’. A bit late posting this up but better late than never! Check out the mixtape.
First Watch: Alex Hepburn ‘Under’
First Watch: Caligola ‘Smash dem brains in’
One of the more unconventional acts to emerge from Sweden this year, this is another new video from Caligola.
First Watch: Elias Sahlin ‘Windows (Part 1)
Elias Sahlin is just showing off the fact that he may be one of the coolest, smoothest kids from Scandinavia right now with this clip.
First Watch: Hurts ‘The Road’
Hurts are back with a new album called ‘Exile’. This is the first cut from the record, called ‘The Road’. It’s as epic and raw as you would expect from the duo.
First Watch: Venice ‘City of Light’
I really think Venice will make considerable impact in the next twelve months. It’s the kind of indie pop that suits radio very well.
