Eliza Doolittle hasn’t really changed her direction since her debut back in 2010. Personally I think that’s a good thing – she’s got a very distinctive pop sound that doesn’t seem to get old. There’s nothing new or edgy with this, but it’s hard to hate it.
One of my favourite emerging Swedish acts, this is a new track from Karl X Johan.
I feel 11 years old again when I hear this new throwback from Elliphant. This is definitely her most radio-friendly song yet.
I’m kicking off the week with this new one from Ray Foxx featuring Rachel K Collier.
This is my favourite track so far from Fyfe. It’s dark and melodic and moody. Out July 8th.
It can be hard sometimes to make pop that’s this cool sound catchy, but Laura’s first single through Polydor manages to do just that. Out July 15th.
One of the quirkier indie acts to emerge from Sweden, Humfree Bug Art have a new wonderful new EP and they’re streaming it for your pleasure.
New one from one of the more interesting talents to have emerged from Sweden this year. It’s also a free download which is nice.
Misty Miller’s got a new EP out June 2nd, of which this track is featured on. Nice bit of down tempo garage rock.
Those Danish kids have come up with a destructive and so epic track. This is as cool as electropop gets right now.
Big song from a very promising new talent that was featured back in January.
Delivering on that hard, heavy electropop sound, Kate Boy has a new track that’s a little bit epic.
One of my favourite Swedish electropop duo’s are finally back with some new music! It’s out now and is the first song from their new ‘Swoon EP’ which will be out 31 May on Riot Factory/EMI.
This is a very cute bit of disco from Du Tonc. Released 20th May On Cheap Thrills.
