IGNUG
This is IGNUG. From what I’ve read, they’ve been around for some time but this is the first I’ve heard of them. I don’t know if I like or hate this song but it’s compelling to me for sure.

Quietly epic synth sound from Denmark. Check out here.
Free Download: Mercedes ‘Airwave Hustle’
This can’t get any more Neneh Cherry if it tried- but that’s a good thing. There’s been considerable buzz for Mercedes, and now the Camden/ Copenhagen girl is signed to Warner Music Publishing in the USA and recording new music with producers including Robbie Lamond (Devlin, Katy B), Breakage (Jess Mills, Roots Manuva) and WoZ (Black Butter) for release throughout 2013. Grab a free download of this track here.
New Music: ColorKaleido
Track of the week. It’s a bit strange, but this has been a very strange week anyway so this fits well. It’s very cute Danish indie that keeps you hooked right to the end. Check out here.

Can’t go back…
You will know Infernal from past tracks such as this, and truth is they never really went anywhere; they’re still big in Scandinavia. I’ve taken a shining to this new song though, so here you go.
One Trick Pony
I don’t think there’s many people who are more mental than Linkoban coming out of the Danish music scene right now… This track is nuts.
New Music: Lukas Graham
Moon to let…
Tina Dickow is a household name in Denmark- she’s currently number 1 on the Danish iTunes chart with her new record. I like the way she mixes the slow, acoustic darkness with broody beats. Thought I’d share.
A good song. In Danish.
First Watch: Rhye ‘The Fall’
I featured this band not too long ago and now there’s a lovely video to a very sexy track. I really am in love with Rhye. Album coming in 2013, single out November 12th.
New Music: Vinnie Who
New Music: The Eclectic Moniker
In keeping with today’s happy Nordic theme, this is a new Danish calypso sound that makes me so happy I could blow a rainbow out of my ears… Or whatever… Check out here.
