Danish Music - New Music

First Listen: When Saints Go Machine ‘Iodine’

Those Danish kids have come up with a destructive and so epic track. This is as cool as electropop gets right now.

No diggity. Danish style.

A mash up of Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity’ and Macklemore’s ‘Thrift Shop’ by Danish teen popkid Kristoffer Rahbek.

Fallulah – Dried-Out Cities

It’s always nice to hear new stuff from Fallulah!

First Watch: Private ‘Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be’

I’m starting the week off with a huge pop track from Copenhagen’s Private.

New Music: Lisa Alma

This is a bit hard to describe. It’s got a subdued, dark and airy feel yet still manages to sound a little grand. Check out here.

New Music: Rangleklods

This has to be the best dance track of the week, maybe the whole month. Experimental electro from Denmark. Check out here.

Overdose

This will probably be the campest track you’ll hear today from Wolfgang Gartner and Danish pop princess Medina. Love.

New Music: Sebastian Lind

I’ve got so much great Scandinavian music for you this week. This is Danish Sebastian Lind and he makes a soulful, funky and slightly dirty sound. Check out here.

New Music: Inouwee

Track of the week. Hard Danish electropop. Speaking of Danish, I’m hopping between Copenhagen and Malmö from today right up until Sunday. Tweet me if you’re around. Check out here.

Kasper Bjørke – Sunrise

A little Danish disco to get the mid week blues out of the way from Kasper Bjørke.

New Music: Thee Attacks

There’s a bit of an emergence of indie rock of late coming out of Denmark. Like these guys, and their sound is catchy as hell. Check out here.

First Watch: Linkoban ‘Popgun Track’

Catchy poppy track from one of Denmark’s more ‘out-there’ newcomers, Linkoban.

Rock ‘n’ Roll, Scandinavia!

A few weeks ago I suggested some tracks for American Express to feature on their pages, and they’ve come up with a really quite brilliant playlist of emerging Scandinavian artists.

Best of all, it’s all free to download, and features some of my absolute favourites like Johan Reinhold and Fallulah!
