Make sense if you can
I don’t know what’s going on here but it sounds really good, so I thought I’d share. Check out here.
New Music: Sarah Young
You probably won’t have heard anything like this before, there’s a big carnival, Diplo vibe around this sound. It’s called ‘kuduro’ apparently. Check out here.
Friday couldn’t come sooner…
… so here’s a track by Michael S. to get you in the mood for the weekend ahead.

Free Download: RAC ‘Hollywood (feat Penguin Prison)
This makes me look forward to the summer. Featuring vocals by one of my favourites, Penguin Prison, this is the first RAC track to be made as a solo effort- they usually remix stuff for other bands.
New Music: JayEllDee
Rap from the Wales, recently signed to Mercury Records so chances of her hitting your local radio stations are pretty high. Check out here.
Jubilee Family Festival
Summer’s almost upon us (although it’s hard to believe), so for the next few days I’m going to post some upcoming festivals that might interest you.
Here’s the first: the Jubilee Family Festival Presented by Sainsbury’s is a two-day family Jubilee celebration taking place in London’s Hyde Park. Hosted by Myleene Klass and Jon Culshaw, the event will be for the whole family to enjoy featuring the nation’s best live music and entertainment. The programme will include: ‘The Magic of Disney In Concert’; performances from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing hosted by Craig Revel Horwood; appearances by the puppets and actors from the National Theatre’s award-winning production of War Horse; a Commonwealth stage, Parade Ground and Kids Zone to name just a few.

New Music: Leisure
I love this sound. It’s got a very epic vibe to it but still feels really stripped down and lo-fi. Check out here.
New Music: Beaux Sanders
A sweet, warm jazzy sound that manages to sound very fresh. Check out here.
New Music: Saint Lou Lou
This is refreshingly beautiful and airy and lovely, by twins born and raised in Sweden and Australia. Check out here.
New Music: Selah Sue
Big hair and a big sound. There’s a soul, funk and rock vibe to this and it’s already had over half a million hits on YouTube. Check out here.
First Watch: Alan Wilkis ‘Shadow’
This is probably the best new track I’ve heard all week. Actually, it is. Previously featured back in November, this is the second single from Alan Wilkis and is so well done- just incredibly addictive and sexy as hell. Check out here.
Revl9n release new album
I don’t usually plug new albums but Revl9n hold a special place in my heart, as they are responsible for one of my favourite songs from my uni days, which is nice.
This Swedish band have a new record that’s been described as ‘the sound of neon-soaked cab rides in search of cheap thrills, of lives full of sex and frustration, danger and euphoria. It’s a scream in the dark, a howl from the heart, an absolute rush.’ So there you go. Album’s out May 14th 2012.
