Feel-good Swedish indie pop. Check out here.
And shortly after debuting her new track with Kleerup, Loreen’s released her new video clip for ‘Heal’. It’s hot.
This Swedish band sing in… well, Swedish. But I’m really liking their sound. This new track is well worth a listen.
New Swedish electropop at it’s finest and most exciting. Materikaa, who I’ve made no secret of being obsessed with, have released a new EP. It’s out on the 5th March but you can already get a track now over on iTunes. I’ve already had the pleasure of giving it a spin and pretty much every track is a belter.
Feels like a lifetime since I wrote about this Swedish band for the first time, but it looks like they’ve finally been snapped up by a label and are releasing this as a single. Good!
This got me a bit excited. Loreen, of Eurovision fame, has teamed up with Kleerup, of Robyn ‘With Every Heartbeat’ fame. This is a preview of what’s to come, and it sounds like it will be a stunning piece of music.
I’m starting the week with the new video to one of the nicest sounding Swedish pop bands that have emerged from last year, Hurricane Love. It’s cute and rocky in equal measures.
One of my favourite Swedes from 2011, Beatrice Eli is finally releasing her debut EP on March 24th. It’s pop with a dark punch, cut in a way that only the Swedes seem to do so well.
I really know nothing about Nordpolen (Im not quite sure how I stumbled across this track either) but it’s so happy, I have to share it.
MOVITS! are a Swedish swing/ jazz outfit that’s been around for some time, I’m feeling this new track. It’s pretty fun.
Acclaimed Swedish indie newcomers The Fiery Piano are giving away their entire album for free right here. How nice.
Probably the most unconventional track you’ll hear this week, this is from new Swedish group Black Madonna. It’s melodic, heavy and sad, but you just can’t define what it ultimately sounds like. Check out here.
Happy-go-lucky Swedish pop with some reggae vibes thrown in. Check out here.
One of the great things about having my own blog is I get to feature whatever I like. Even when it’s sung completely in Swedish. I love this sound, and the voice is incredibly icy and beautiful. Check out here.
I haven’t heard much from Vanbot lately so I was pleasantly surprised to see this new video. Good to see she’s still churning out that catchy Swedish electropop.
