Swedish pop star Ola’s gotten all big over in Italy lately, and this new single has a very camp Italo-disco beat around it. And the whistling won’t escape your head for a good few hours…

Swedish house for a Monday night? Why not.
Feel-good Swedish electro/ house from Error404.
New Music: Pr0files
Rich and breezy synth. Check out here.
Rebecca Ferguson – I Hope
Ex X-Factor alumni Rebecca Ferguson is back with an epic stomper of a track. Leaves me a little breathless. Whether it takes off on the radio, I’m not sure, but it’s a good track.
New Music: Galantis
Feeling good about this week. Here’s an uplifting dance sound. Check out here.
Samo Sound Boy – Your Love (Shlohmo Remix)
Something atmospheric and synthy and ambient to end the week with from Samo Sound Boy and Shlohmo.
I won’t let the weekend go… Just yet…
Jonas Rathsman delivers a smooth slice of house that I can’t not share with you this weekend.
Moderat: ‘Gita’ supports the UNICEF #ENDviolence Against Children Initiative
I stumbled across this video this week and feel compelled to post it…
This video follows the evocative single ‘Gita’ from Moderat’s latest album, ‘II’. A coordinated project between UNICEF and Monkeytown/ Mute, the video puts the spotlight on the ground breaking #ENDviolence against children initiative, a global movement to raise awareness and spark local action to combat violence against children by making ‘the invisible, visible.’
The video, directed by Juan Carlos Maneglia and Tana Schembori, focuses on breaking the cycle of abuse, telling a story of domestic violence through the eyes of a child experiencing it in his own home.
New Music: Louis Centioni
Great, stripped soul from a 17-year old talent from London. Check out here.
First Watch: Elliphant ‘Could It Be’
One of my favourite Swedish newcomers, Elliphant has come up with a new video (and a new sound it seems). It’s still got a quirk, but is a lot easier to take in than some of her previous tracks.
New Music: Tiny Hearts
A random track
The most random song you’ll hear all week. Seriously, so random. But fun! Check out here.
New Music: Hamish Anderson
Hot Sugar
I have a feeling I’m a few years late on this guy, but this new track is too good not to share. Check out here.
Of The Night
Bastille have been one of 2013’s biggest UK music success stories. They’ve etched a pop sound that’s cool to be liked by pretty much any one. This track blends two club classics together seamlessly.
New Music: Ash Riser
New Music: Voices of Black
Moody, well-crafted electro. Check out here.
Preview John Newman’s ‘Tribute’ album in full!
Live: Whinnie Williams at The Lexington London
And so my second showcase of the evening was for Whinnie Williams. Lots of buzz surrounding this lady, and the show was pretty fun. This is good, quirky pop that the radio’s bound to like.
On another note, Gossling did a few songs beforehand as well and I’m kind of taken with the sound. She’s been around for a while, I do hope the UK falls in love as much as I have…
Live: Cajsa Siik at The Tavern Lock London
I had two events to hit last night, so I couldn’t stay as long as I wanted to watch a whole list of talented Swedish singers perform as part of a Birds Will Sing For You showcase but the couple of songs I managed to watch Cajsa Siik were beautiful.
Others on the night were Ms. Henrik and The Fiery Piano.
