I’m liking this new single by the Waylayers, out November 26th.

First Watch: Lana Del Rey ‘Ride’
In preperation for Lana Del Rey‘s “Paradise” edition of double platinum album ” Born To Die” on Monday November 12th, a ten-minute video to accompany the track ‘Ride’ has just been released. Ten minutes…
First Watch: Rhye ‘The Fall’
I featured this band not too long ago and now there’s a lovely video to a very sexy track. I really am in love with Rhye. Album coming in 2013, single out November 12th.
First Watch: Nas feat Amy Winehouse ‘Cherry Wine’
Nas and Amy Winehouse was always an interesting pairing, and personally I’m a bit on the fence with this one, just because I wish there was more of Amy in it, but it’s a nice track nonetheless.
First Watch: Ria Ritchie ‘Something About You’
One of the longest titles in pop
Trust those Norwegians to come up with a title for a song so long and amazing that it makes you have to listen to the track. It’s the new video by Alfitude favourites, Team Me, and is called ‘With My Hands Covering Both of My Eyes I Am Too Scared to Have A Look At You Now’. The single is the final to be taken from debut album ‘To The Treetops’, and will be released on October 29 2012.
First Watch: A*M*E ‘Play The Game Boy’
This girl is really starting to make a lot of pop fuss on the scene, having dabbled in work with British pop institutions ranging from JLS to Emeli Sande. It’s only a matter of time before she’s a household name.
First Watch: Seye ‘Mexicana Bounce’
This is probably the catchiest thing you’ll hear all day, from Seye. Shame it wasn’t released pre-summer though.
First Watch: The Sweet Serenades ‘Can’t Get Enough’
First Watch: The D.O.T. ‘You Never Asked’
This is exciting to me- Mike Skinner (ex The Streets) has a new project called The D.O.T. and this is their new video featuring Danny Brown and Clare Maguire. Good.
First Watch: Milano Sun ‘If You Go Home Alone’
What a lovely track to finish the week with. One of my favourite bands to emerge from Sweden, Milano Sun have released a new video for their latest piece, ‘If You Go Home Alone’. Their self titled EP will be out later this year.
First Watch: Andreas Moe ‘+1’
New track by one of my favourite Swedish kids, taken from the soundtrack to upcoming British movie ‘The Knot’.
First Watch: Kat Deluna ‘Wanna See You Dance (La La La)’
I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Kat Deluna (anyone remember this?) but this is a brilliant pop track- so credit given where it’s due.
First Watch: Marcus Foster ‘Worn Down By Time’
It’s as warm and lovely as all his other singles. And for American fans, Marcus Foster will be supporting Michael Kiwanuka as well as Ben Howard on their respective tours in the US.
First Watch: Robbie Williams ‘Candy’
British pop institution Robbie Williams is (finally)back with a new single that’s catchy as hell. ‘Candy’ is out October 29th and was written by Gary Barlow. New album ‘Take The Crown’ is released on 5th November 2012.
First Watch: JLS ‘Hottest Girl In The World’
Out October 21st, I imagine this is what Justin Timberlake would come out with if he was still taking his solo career seriously. Great pop and a brilliant new direction from JLS!
First Watch: Dawn Richard ‘Wild N’ Faith’
I’m really loving this video. Dawn Richard was once part of Diddy’s Danity Kane girl group but since they got disbanded she’s been the only one to still get get regular exposure.
First Watch: Karin Park ‘Thousand Loaded Guns’
Im surprised with myself for not mentioning Karin Park on this site before, because I do love her. She ticks all my boxes. This is her new song, it’s all Scandinavian and epic, just the way I like it. The voice is a little Fever Ray, don’t you think?
First Watch: Ianna Harvey ‘Top Gear’ feat. Lady Lykes
This girl seems to be going from strength to strength. Previously featured on Alfitude, this is Ianna Harvey’s new video. Her debut EP ‘Come Closer’ is out now for free download here.
First Watch: Thorunn Antonia ‘So High’
There’s so much buzz around this Icelandic pop beauty that it’s exciting to wonder where’s it going to lead to.
