“This song discusses the relationship between a current love affair and a current infatuation with drinking and indulging in other intoxicants.”

Reminiscent of 90’s trip hop (which is one of my all time favourite genres), this is a luxuriously textured piece of chill pop.

This 18-year old talent from London (via Oregon) creates the most magical and refreshing neo-soul. There’s a delicate balance between the old and new with her sound which makes it so easy to listen to.

I get asked constantly why I am so obsessed with Swedish talent, and my answer is always the same; you can always expect the best. Take Paulina Creola’s sound here… It’s a flawless blend of soul, RnB and pop, fused together with an indie beat. It’s just so damn good.

British alternative RnB with a bold sense of darkness and raw intensity. Entirely written, produced, mixed and mastered by HRTLSS and a friend at home.

An eclectic and experimental Danish electro pop sound with hints of RnB.
“Spell” is about being extremely attracted to another person because of how forbidden the attraction is. I had an Indian snake charmer on my mind when I was working on the theme of the song. Sonically it perfectly illustrated the seductive mood that I had in mind. So, the forbidden attraction is strong on both sides, – I am held captive by my feelings towards this person, but at the same time the person is being seduced by my kattelicious powers.”

Dark electro pop with a strong melodic essence, tastefully inspired by synth-wave and 80’s vocal stylings.

A punchy mix of pop and rock from a talent who grew up being inspired by Prince and Stevie Wonder’s tendencies of producing their own music. At the age of just ten he purchased his first recorder, and continued to evolve his style through the years into the sound that you hear in today’s release.

Eccentric and playful indie pop with hints of the psychedelic and the 90’s. Talking about the video, LoveLeo explains,
“So I had a whole music video planned for my song ‘LEMONS,’ there was gonna be race cars, explosions, maybe even an elephant, but life decided to give me a lemon…so I made this video entirely in my apartment with my two best friends, a green screen and 127 lemons.”

Dance pop from a new American/ Australian DJ/writer/production, created with Bombs Away, and featuring the vocals of Reigan.
“I hope this song represents the present mindedness that we all possess and reminds us of our similarities. The lies we all tell ourselves that can easily distract us from that present level of awareness, most of what we strive for or are unsatisfied with in our lives will need a shift in perspective to choose love.” – James Maas – RIP Youth

How lovely is this sound? A finessed soft pop sound, wrapped in fragility and melancholy.
“The theme of this song is a situation that I find comes up often. When you go through a break-up, everything that person does online is now in your face and you want them to think you’re okay with them moving on when you’re not. For this track we wanted it to be super introspective and feel kind of dream-like since you’re not actually saying these lyrics out loud.”

A charming pop sound that shows love in it’s purest forms.
“Dumb” was inspired by something my girlfriend at the time told me. She was joking about how “I get away with murder” when I do annoying things because for some reason, they don’t bother her the same way it does when other people do them. It got me thinking about what real love is.”

Bold power-pop from the UK that carries a sound which encapsulates the darker side of love. Still only 17-years old, this is a very exciting talent to watch out for.
“The song is about seeing someone for what they truly are after the relationship has finished. You then realise that their ‘Devil Eyes’ were fooling you all along.”

Another week, another fantastic newbie from Nashville. A sound that contrasts bubblegum pop with an indie edge, matched with a very distinctive and raw vocal.

A British teen trio with an infectious indie-rock sound that encompasses a sense of youthful rebelliousness.

Not much is known about this kid (yet…) although this RnB sound is so sublime, so minimal, and yet somehow still carries a sense of beauty that I have completely fallen for.

A collaborative project featuring a group of ladies who are solo stars in their own right, coming from the US, UK, Denmark and New Zealand. And when you listen to this track you can feel their real love of soul coming through, and it’s the most magical vibe.
